SCDN TV: Local Interest
The Scioto County Student Leadership Association is a volunteer group consisting of students from throughout Scioto County.
To signify the beginning of the organization, a large opening is planned to be held in the Portsmouth Municipal Courthouse.
The event is fully open to the public, and all citizens of the County are invited to attend.
All students present at the event will be invited into a meeting in one of the courtrooms immediately after the event to discuss the association and its goals. Speakers at the event will include representatives from the Sheriff’s department, County Commissioners, and local judges. The opening will also include a performance by the Singing Men of West.
